Nandi Hills

The farm is located at the foothills of Nandi, the famous hill resort the peak of which is about 20 kms from the far.

The bracing air and serene environs of Nandi Hills, perched at a height of 1478 m above sea level provided Tipu Sultan and the British with an idyllic summer retreat. Here, Tipu's fort walls still stand testimony to history.

The rivers Pennar, Palar and Arkavati originate from these hills. A flight of 1175 steps lead from the base of the hills to the top.

Tipu's Drop : A 600 m high cliff face where according to legend, condemned prisoners were pushed to their death.

Yoga Nandishvara Temple: This beautiful Chola Temple has an inscription of Sambhaji, shivaji's son, Dwarapalakas, the splendid metallic figures are not to be missed.

Amrita Samovar : The sparkling water of the "Lake of Nectar" is a major tourist attraction at Nandi Hills.

Nahru Nilaya : situated in lush greenery, this white colored monument is an ideal place for some photographs. With all these attractions, Nandi Hills is an ideal half-day picnic location from the farm
